Our Bighorn Cottage was originally built in the early 1900's. We've recently renovated with an eye to keeping the cottage true to it's mountain origins.

This cottage shares one interior wall with our Aspen Cottage (similar to a duplex).

Bighorn was originally built in the early 1900's. We've recently renovated; it is lovely with so much charm! All the windows were also recently replaced in this cottage.

48" flat screen HD SmartTV; top-down/bottom-up cordless blinds throughout cottage. Blackout blinds in bedroom and sleeping porch.

Bighorn has one bedroom with a walk-in closet and a queen size bed. There is a lovely sleeping porch with a King bed and windows on three sides with mountain views. The living area includes a comfortable queen sleeper sofa and ceiling fan. Bighorn sleeps up to a maximum of 6 (including children/infants).

The cottage is heated with electric baseboard heat (including the sleeping porch). You'll be cozy and warm inside regardless of the outside weather!

This cottage also includes a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven/stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishware and an open kitchen counter with bar stools. There's a washer/dryer in a mudroom area which is also a perfect spot for your outdoor gear. The cottage has a flat screen SmarTV with Dish network and ready to stream using your favorite apps. Wifi is always complimentary.

This cottage has a shower only.

Bighorn has it's own outdoor eating area with table and two rocking chairs. In addition, access is always available in our large common flagstone patio area with additional outdoor seating, outdoor grills and firepits.

We're conveniently located 2 blocks from downtown Estes Park within easy walking of shopping, dining and the river walk (the river runs parallel to the main street downtown). We're a short 3.5 mile drive to Rocky Mountain National Park.

We use a lock box approach for check-in and live on the property. We're here to help as needed and provide advice on hikes, restaurants and other activity on request, but we never intrude.

We love our neighborhood! It's a quiet, older residential neighborhood just two blocks up the hill from the main street in Estes Park. Being up a hill gives us 360 views and while it can be busy in downtown Estes during the summer months, it's peaceful and serene up on our hill.

Our location is perfect to walk downtown to shopping, dining and to enjoy the lovely river walk that is parallel to our main street. There's also a free shuttle service in the summer months with stops throughout Estes Park and also up into the Rocky Mountain National Park.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $75.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
